Blackpool Teaching Hospitals supports the career development and progression of its staff at every level.
Working in the NHS, at BTH, will mean you have access to a number of different ways to develop your skills, knowledge & professional behaviours.
At BTH, you will receive an annual personal development review which can be used to support your career progression. It will identify training and development needs, options that are available to support your development, which in-turn can support career progression and an increase in salary.
For those staff who work in a role that requires registration with a regulatory body in order to practice (nursing for example), you will be required to keep up your skills and knowledge through continual professional development (CPD) activities. You can find out what the requirements are from the relevant regulatory body responsible for your profession.
