Blackpool Teaching Hospitals is proud to be supporting St Mary’s Catholic Academy Sixth Form learners with a work placement via the Health Academy programme.
All learners are studying a science or health and social care A Level and wish to pursue a career in the NHS. Learners choose the Health Academy programme as an option which compliments their A Level choice.
Health Academy participation involves a work placement which gives you, the learner, an insight into working at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals by working alongside industry professionals in a real work environment at one of the largest employers on the Fylde Coast.
The Health Academy supports preparation for employment or progression to a health-related degree at university.
