Tell us a little about yourself

I work within the Apprenticeship & Widening Participation Team as the Apprenticeship Manager; I have worked in the Trust for 15 years across many different roles but always within education. My day to day job is to manage the apprenticeships function for the Trust and continuing to grow the apprenticeship offerings for staff to develop and achieve their personal career goals.

Career journey

In 2009 I started as an apprentice within the Learning & Development team completing a level 2 Business & Administrator apprenticeship, I studied this for 1 year, I got the learning bug and then developed onto my level 3 and level 4 Business & Administrator apprenticeship. Once I completed my apprenticeships, I secured a full-time job in Learning & Development, over the 15 years I have worked within ESR, Apprenticeships, Workforce Education and CPD, then returning back to the Apprenticeship Team.

Future Plans

I am really enjoying my current job role. In the near future I would like to undertake some further development, potentially looking at progressing onto a higher level apprenticeship.
