The Blackpool Victoria Hospital address can be found on the front of this leaflet. It is adjacent to Blackpool Zoo. From the A583 Preston New Road turn onto A587 South Park Drive, which becomes East Park Drive. For the main entrance to the hospital, carry on to Four Lane Ends roundabout. Take the fourth exit and turn right into Whinney Heys Road. Please park in the Main Entrance Car Park.

Exercise improves health and fitness. Cycling and walking is free and reduces congestion and air pollution. There is cycle parking close to entrances.
Taxis are available at the Main Entrance and Outpatients Department.
For the location of car parks, see the site plan overleaf. When parking in pay and display car parks, please display your ticket clearly on your windscreen. At peak times you may have to wait for a space to become available. Short stay and drop off spaces are free.

The Trust appreciates that the cost of parking may cause concern for some patients and visitors. In support of this we offer the following concessions at the discretion of the ward manager;
• A parent / guardian or carer of a child who is an inpatient at the hospital will receive a subsidised parking rate of £3.00 per day for the first two weeks (tariff rate £6.00) thereafter free parking.
• One relative or carer of a patient who has been in hospital for two weeks will be offered free parking. Haematology / Oncology patients who are undergoing regular outpatient treatment will receive free parking. Relatives / carers of patients who are at end of life are offered free parking.
The ward manager or nurse in charge should be contacted and will provide an authorised form to the relative / carer or patient to take to the Car Parking Office for issue of a concessionary permit.
Parking charges are free of charge when clearly displaying a valid blue badge.
There are designated spaces close to the hospital entrances for disabled badge holders and also on the ground floor of the main entrance multi-storey car park where instructions are displayed at the pay machines on how to obtain free parking.
Vehicles in breach of car parking rules, which are displayed in the car parks, may be subject to a Parking Enforcement Notice – £30 fine. For further car parking information, the Car Park Office is located on the ground floor of the main entrance car park. Tel: 01253 956970.
