Our team is made up of experienced children’s nurses.
The team comprises of:
- Team Leader
- Band 6 children's nurses (Sisters)
- Band 5 children's nurses (Staff Nurses)
- Band 4 Assistant Practitioners (APs)
Our team support children within their homes or school. The team provide link nurse support for:
- Highfurlong School
- Pear Tree School
- Red Marsh School
- Woodlands School
If your child is referred to our team you will be contacted by telephone. Ongoing correspondence, care and support will be given by home visits, telephone calls, text messages and email as required.

If your child has open access to the Children’s Assessment Unit (CAU) they can be contacted on 01253 953778 for further help and support.
Who we support
The Children’s Community Nursing team support children with a wide range of health issues. Some may require short term input other conditions require long term support.
