The team provides services aross Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde and is comprised of three part time Occupational Therapists registered with the health professions council (HCPC), a part time Occupational Therapy technical instructor and part time administrative support.
Across the team there is a wealth of clinical, educational and managerial knowledge and experience in out- patient, hospital, community and educational settings. The team has links to the Royal College of Occupational Therapists specialist section in Rheumatology and with the Universities of Cumbria and Central Lancashire.
The team provides placement opportunities for students on both BSc Hons and MSc Occupational Therapy courses and you may be asked if a student can observe or participate in your care.
