The school age vaccination team solely deliver vaccinations to children in school.
We are based in St Annes Health Centre, St Annes and Queen Victoria Medical Centre, Morecambe. The team is responsible for the school age immunisation programme across the whole NHS trust, in an area stretching from Fylde right up to the Cumbrian border. We primarily work term-time, Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00.
The vaccination programme is available to all school-age children. The programme is delivered in primary, secondary and special schools, pupil referral units (PRUs), children’s homes, travelling communities, community clinics and home visits for hard-to-reach children. The team delivering the school-based immunisation programme that has been commissioned by Public Health England.
