Eatwell runs over 9 weeks, currently this is a virtual online group course with up to 10 participants. Led by a Specialist Dietitian and Assistant Practitioner. Eatwell covers a range of topics including: - dietary education, portion sizes, weight loss guidance, food labelling and much more. To help you along your journey to achieve a healthier diet and lifestyle.
This course helps you to maintain and put into practice, skills and goals from Eat Well or the sessions you have had within our service.
Moving Forward is designed to use your skills to make long-term changes to:
- Eating habits
- Maintain weight loss
- Improve your confidence
A Patient group which is facilitated by Occupational Therapy. The group currently takes place online using the platform Microsoft Teams for 8 sessions over 10 weeks, with the opportunity for a 1:1 review at the midpoint. The group explores routines and structures, social support, environmental considerations, leisure, roles and responsibilities, stigma and judgements, motivation, communication, self-compassion and self-care. The group focuses on development of practical skills and strategies that are supportive of long term changes to support a patient’s weight management pathway. The course requires patients to practice and apply skills at home.
A 5 session course helping you to understand emotional eating and build skills to support your weight loss journey.
The course aims to help you to stop and notice why you are eating, and gain a better understanding of factors which may trigger your own personal eating behaviours, or keep them going.
We aim to help you to build on that understanding to develop more helpful ways of managing food cravings.
Sessions are currently delivered remotely by video link using Microsoft Teams.
